Volunteers needed 9/23 -- your time benefits The Center for Sex & Culture!
CSC will receive a $75 donation for EVERY volunteer shift worked!
LoveFest needs gate donation volunteers on Saturday, September 23rd in SF’s Civic Center. Your volunteer efforts will benefit five local charities and New Orleans’ musicians. Volunteers are asked to work a three-hour shift and report an hour ahead of time for sign- in and instructions. In turn SF LoveFest will make a donation for every shift to charities fighting AIDS and Hepatitis as well as doing visionary work educating about sexuality and gender issues. You can sign up with friends IF you arrive together. You can probably work together in the same area. You'll also get a t-shirt and an invitation to the volunteer's party in mid-October.
We have two main shifts with a check-in and brief gate training an hour before your work starts.
Shift times:
12:30-3:30p (check-in at 11:30am)
3-6pm (check-in 2pm)
Work a double shift and CSC will get twice the donation! LoveFest will provide clean volunteer porta-potties with no lines, a coat- check for your backpacks and refreshments to keep you going.
Get ready to be busy, as we know that thousands of folks will come through the gates. Some volunteers will be collecting donations and others will be putting stickers on anyone who donates.
