... problem, that is.

Hi!

i've just joined so i wanted to introduce myself and also ask for some help from the experts here.

My name's Ross. i'm a writer on spirituality, love and relationships. You can check out some of my books, etc, here: www.thefourgates.com and some of the articles i've written on my Tribe page.

My colleague, Kate, is also a writer. Her last book was Va Va Voodoo and was about love, relationships, and.... well, Voodoo. Kate's a relationship counsellor and sex therapist, and also an initiate of the Haitian spiritual tradition (hence the book title). You can read up on her book at The Four Gates web page as well.

Now, here's my problem: Kate has a new book out soon called Wicked Voodoo Sex. On the face of it, it's about sex and relationships and also about love spells and sex magic (a sort of a grown-up 'teenage witch' book - for teenage witches with a (dirty) mind of their own) but more importantly, running through it is also a thread about sexual freedom and re-empowerment: reclaiming 'Slut' as a positive force.

Kate's away at the moment so i've said i'll handle liaison with her publisher till she's back and i've just heard that the person who was down to write the foreword for her (Peta Heskell, 'the flirt coach') has had to drop out because she's in love and her head's spinning! So i wondered if anyone here could recommend an author (or artist, actor, performer, etc) who'd be appropriate and willing to write a few pages as the intro? Or maybe someone here might want to do it if you've got a profile in this area???

Nothing major is required. A few pages on the theme of sexual freedom is what we're looking for (particularly with regard to sexual empowerment and freedom from shame and labels). Not too 'heavy' though.

There's a deadline for this of about 2 weeks, so if anyone has any ideas i'd be grateful to hear them!

Thanks for your time!
