A Note from Peter Acworth of kink.com:
---------------------------------------
--
As you know, we have come under a
certain amount of heat for buying the
Armory to use for movie production.
Despite the fact that the Planning
Department agreed to our use prior to
the purchase, the Mayor pressured them
into holding a public hearing on March
8th 10-12:30 in City Hall, room 416.
This is an 'informational meeting¹
designed to hear community feedback,
and there will be no vote. However, in
order to prevent the city from
attempting to rezone the Armory, It is
important that we show up in force and
that we outnumber the protestors, so
please save the date! We will send out
more information nearer the time.
Cheers
Peter
PS please forward this on to any lists
that you think might be appropriate,
or post it anywhere you think people
might see it (tribe.net, myspace
pages, etc.).

Re: Kink.com Hearing in SF
Thu, March 1, 2007 - 3:18 PMI have been following this story in the news online.
I am in LA but I strongly encourage everyone to come out
and support this business at this meeting. I do not know these people, but
the existence of this business in this location is a big step
for the representation of healthy exploration of human nature
and sexuality in our communities.
I hope everyone who has the remotest ability to get there shows
up and speaks on behalf of this business and its right to
operate in a legal and responsible manner.
cheers
