Hello friends!

Greetings to all our new list members from the most wonderful LitCrawl
gig.

We HOPE we will soon have news about new space. And when that happens,
we would like to borrow as many of you as have some available volunteer
time and muscles, so we can empty out all those storage units! Keep an
eye out for a separate message about all that, and when it arrives,
please please forward it as liberally as you like.

A few date reminders, meanwhile -- one is that tomorrow's zoophilia
workshop still has space. See blow for details.
Second -- on November 1 we hope to host S. Bear Bergman! Ze will do a
reading from hir new book, or possibly even a workshop "For Incipient
Gentlemen" -- butches and transmasculine folk, take note! Please save
that date. Bear's performances here have been wonderful and we're glad
ze's coming back.
And in November don't forget that NINA HARTLEY will visit again! She'll
be doing a workshop, probably a couples-based one, on Sunday, 11/19.
And keep an eye out for a fabulous early-December fundraiser hosted by
Annie Sprinkle! We're seeking erotic artists to participate in that,
donating their time/artistic energies to do live-action erotic art, plus
models for them to interpret.

What else? Check out John Cameron Motchell's new film Shortbus! Any of
you who were Queen of Heaveners in the early '90s will have a
flashback.

Have a fun, sexy and safe Hallowe'en -- sorry we're not doing an event,
which we were going to do, but our co-sponsor had to pull out and it
was too late to forge on alone. Maybe next year!

Saturday, November 11th, 9:30 to 5:30 -- Become an Extraordinary
Lover™ - For Men who love Women
at Counterpulse, 1310 Mission at 9th St., SF.

Participants from recent Become an Extraordinary Lover™ Workshops said:

“I wish I attended this course when I was 20.” – Oakland
“Getting a feedback from women about they liked during a hands on work
was phenomenal.” – NJ
“Hands on training is amazing - doing is much more educational than
talking.” – Berkeley
“Just want to let you know I put what I learned to practice with my
girlfriend and got an A+. So glad I took the class.” – Marin
Now it’s your turn to drive women wild… There is nothing more arousing
than watching a woman you are making love to writhe and moan with
delight. However, there are very few places to get practical, explicit, and
straightforward advice about what turns women on.

In this Hands-On, one-day workshop you'll learn everything from the
arts of romance and seduction to advanced pleasure techniques. Learn to
read women's non-verbal cues, to elicit information about her secret
sexual desires, and to keep her coming back for more. You will have the
opportunity to practice different kinds of touch on a woman, understand
her responses, and receive helpful feedback. The facilitators will cover
intimacy, communication and how to give pleasure during a sexual
encounter including manual and oral techniques.

Tuition is $325.
Sign up by October 22nd and pay only $300
To sign up email info@CelesteAndDanielle.com or call Danielle at (415)
336-3258.

The facilitators, Celeste and Danielle, believe in the transformative
power of pleasure because they have experienced the transformation in
their own lives. Danielle Harel is an erotic educator and a clinical
sexologist who has devoted the last thirteen years to counseling couples,
women, men, and groups. She graduated with a Doctor of Human Sexuality
(DHS) degree from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in
San Francisco. Celeste Hirschman has made a lifelong study of
sexuality, intimacy, and relationships both inside and outside of the classroom.
She has studied sexuality from an academic perspective and in May of
2005 she received an MA in Human Sexuality Studies from San Francisco
State University. Both Danielle and Celeste teach and practice Sexological
Body work, a California State approved program of body-based, erotic
education that invites people to find out what is erotically possible for
them, and deepen their experiences of pleasure and embodiment.

CREATING CHANGE AND SEXUAL FREEDOM

We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to largest LGBT
political change conference in the country: Creating Change. For this
year’s conference, held in Kansas City, MO, the Woodhull Freedom
Foundation has partnered with the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force to create
an entire track dedicated to Sexual Freedom.

Our mission for this conference is to help educate activists and
advocates on the importance of focusing on the general issue of sexual
freedom rather than any one particular identity. In order to accomplish this
we are showcasing a daylong, Pre-Conference Institute on Sexual Freedom
that will be led by experienced activists and leaders from different
areas of the Sexual Freedom movement. During the main conference
schedule, the Sexual Freedom track will include great workshops and skills
academies covering topics ranging from discussions about sex in the
disabled community to youth issues and leather issues, as well as
understanding sexual freedom as a political leader.

These workshops will help further the skills and knowledge base of any
activist and translate across communities, helping the Sexual Freedom
movement to expand its relationships with other segments of the social
change movement as a whole.

Creating Change is an inspiring conference that brings together
activists from across the country and around the world to meet and discuss
some of the most pressing issues facing the LGBT, Sexual Freedom and other
social change movements alike.

We hope that you can join us in Kansas City, MO this November from the
8th through the 12th. To register for the conference or for more
information please visit the conference website at
www.creatingchange.org or contact the conference team at
creatingchange@thetaskforce.org.
